Junior Strategist

We’re looking to hire a Junior Strategist for brand and content marketing who is able to translate clients’ business and brand marketing goals into long-term action plans that sustain healthy client accounts and produce the agency’s most engaging and meaningful work.

  • Collaborate with other strategists to create insight-led brand and content strategies, working to balance client goals with agency priorities;
  • Support team by contributing through research, brand and content audits, competitive analysis and unique insights for ongoing brand and content strategy engagements;
  • Provide strategy support to accounts to ensure continuity between strategy and execution;
  • Learn to oversee media planning and execution/reporting of media plans to distribute the agency’s content effectively. 



  • A background in brand and/or content strategy, whether through classes, books, internships or entry level positions
  • A genuine excitement about the opportunity for brands to be the world’s foremost storytellers
  • Strong writing skills for both creative and business communication purposes
  • An ability to present ideas and approaches
  • Working or basic knowledge of key distribution and measurement platforms such as CRM, email automation, analytics, social and search
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and client needs
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly and anticipate needs to provide support where needed most

Compensation is dependent upon experience. We do not pay based on the location of the employee, rather based on the market rates in Orange County, CA.

We are a distributed- or remote-first company. This means that we are open to working with you if you live anywhere within the USA. If you desire to work in an office with other C5ers, we have a beautiful office in Costa Mesa, CA.
